High Voltage Intelligent Battery Shunt Sensor with CAN-FD Interface

The HV-IBSS-CANFD is a reference design that showcases an isolated current and voltage measurement unit connected via CAN-FD. This design provides one current measurement channel and three voltage measurement channels. It also illustrates the effectiveness of our WSBE low TCR battery shunt technology and our CDMA high-precision, low-tracing-error voltage divider in minimizing measurement variations over temperature. Depending on the shunt used, the design can measure continuous currents of up to 1,826 A (with a 5-second overload of 9,000 A) and voltages of up to 1,200 V at a rate of 100 Hz.
