Responsibility in Supply Chains

As a leading global manufacturer of discrete semiconductors and passive components, Vishay is committed to maintaining a sustainable supply chain rooted in our values of responsibility and integrity, working collaboratively with partners to ensure ethical sourcing and fair labor practices.

We commit to:

1. Conducting due diligence in accordance with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict‑Affected and High‑Risk Areas, including the 3T and gold supplements and other minerals designated by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI).
2. Procuring materials exclusively from independently validated smelters.
3. Actively supporting and engaging with industry initiatives, such as the RMI, to advance collective, industry‑wide solutions.
4. Upholding transparency by providing required disclosures and reports to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and to our customers.

California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010

Vishay has implemented supply chain standards that meet or exceed industry norms, including ISO 9001 certification across the majority of our manufacturing sites and ongoing certification efforts for additional facilities. We also support industry programs, such as the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC), to promote human rights, ethical labor, and environmental safeguards across the electronics supply chain.

German Supply Chain Act

The German Act on Due Diligence in Supply Chains (LkSG), effective 1 January 2023, strengthens human rights protections across global supply chains and has applied since 2024 to companies with at least 1000 employees and a presence in Germany.

Vishay views the LkSG as complementary to our existing program: we integrate human rights and environmental risk considerations into business decisions, operate a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, prevent, and mitigate such risks, implement preventive and corrective measures, maintain a transparent complaints mechanism, and provide regular reporting.

These obligations cover our own operations, contractual partners, and, where necessary, indirect suppliers — responsibilities Vishay fulfills in pursuit of responsible supply chains that respect human rights.
