1 kW DC/DC Converter 48 V DC to 12 V DC

This 1 kW, 48 V/12 V DC-DC converter is based on a two-phase, interleaved buck/boost topology. Each phase operates at 185 kHz, has a 500 W capacity, and is equipped with back-to-back switches on both the 12 V and 48 V port. These switches protect against back conduction during UV conditions and allow phase sheding for higher efficiency in light load conditions. The converter is equipped with an automatic switching mechanism that enables seamless transition between buck and boost modes, ensuring uninterrupted standalone operation. Additionally, the control IC facilitates seamless integration with larger power management systems, enhancing its versatility and functionality.
