A missile seeker has milliseconds to track a target and correct course, leaving no margin for a sensor that drifts or a signal that lags. Vishay's RAME012 magnetic encoder replaces potentiometers in guidance gimbals, holding 11-bit accuracy through vibration, shock, and magnetic interference. The K857PE PIN diode array adds daylight-filtered optical detection for seeker heads, so the guidance system locks onto a target and stays locked, engagement after engagement.
Behind every lock-on is The DNA of tech.®
With over six decades of experience developing components designed to withstand high temperature and humidity conditions, Vishay's components are engineered to ensure exceptional reliability, featuring such qualifications as AEC-Q100, AEC-Q101, and AEC-Q200.
Components withstand temperatures up to 180 °C in harsh environments
Industry's lowest RDS(on) optimized for gate drives
AEC, MIL qualifications and superior long term performance
